A well-respected and revered Reverend Father, Gabriel Okeke has explained why the New Cardinal from Anambra State, Peter Cardinal Okpaleke is eligible to possibly become a Pope of the Roman Catholic one day. In a recent post on his official Facebook page, Reverend Father Okeke stated that the latest Cardinal Okpaleke is the second Cardinal from Igboland adding that the first Cardinal from the Southeast geopolitical zone is Francis Cardinal Arinze who was ordained as a Cardinal by the pope in 1985.

Reverend Father Okeke noted that the new Cardinal is eligible to possibly become a Pope one day because Cardinals are the ones who stand the chance of becoming Pope.
He explained further that when a Pope dies, the Cardinals are the ones who gather in the Vatican in Rome for a session called ‘conclave’.
