In an ambience charged with euphoria Senator Orji Kalu and his entourage are currently being welcomed into Okon-Atu, Ohafia occasioned by the Senate Chief Whip’s project impact assessment tour of Abia-North.
The exercise which commenced since Sunday has seen Kalu and his retinue of staffs transverse various Hamlets in Abia-North to ascertain the level of impact of his legislative duties in their communities.
Hosting Kalu on Wednesday, dwellers of Okon-Atu led by their President General; Dr. Kalu MC. Umeh swarmed in their numbers to receive the Senate Chief Whip.
Addressing the gathering Senator Orji Kalu took stock of their challenges and impact of his works in their various communities. Speaking further, Senator Kalu informed the gathering of his plans to reconstruct the Asaga, Okon – Aku, Amanda Nde- Ibe and Ufiele communities link Roads which he constructed when he was Governor.
