One of the Chieftains of the APC in Imo, Uju Okoro has commended Imo state Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma over receipt of Buhari’s nod for upgrading of Alvan Ikoku Federal College Of Education to Federal University of education.
This is even as he appealed with Imo people particularly the opposition to sheath their sword and support the Uzodinma led administration which he described as an all_inclusive pattern of Government.
Governor Uzodinma has in the bid to boost education excellence in Imo received presidential nod to upgrade Alvan Ikoku Federal College Of Education to Federal University of Education, Owerri Federal Medical centre toTeaching Hospital,a move hailed by Imo people of good will.
Speaking to Lead Express in Owerri last Monday,Uju Okoro,a one time Local Government Chairman of Isu revealed that upgrading of the said Institution to Federal University would go a long way in creating job opportunities for Imo people amongst other benefits.
He however used the opportunity to call on Imo people to remain supportive of the Uzodinma led administration which he said is poised to giving Imo the much needed but eluded good governance in the State.
