Popular Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau, kicks over inclusion in Tinubu’s campaign team

Popular Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau, has lashed out at the decision of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to include her on the campaign team of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

The actress, who said she was not contacted before her name was listed on the Tinubu/Shettima Women Presidential campaign team, which was released on Saturday, denied any association with the ex-Lagos governor’s 2023 ambition.

“THIS IS A BIG FAT LIEEEEE…. I AM NOT AWARE OF THIS … ❌
I DON’T KNOW HOW MY NAME MADE IT TO THIS LIST, NOT IN ANY WAY ASSOCIATED WITH THIS,” Sadau said in a post on her verified Twitter handle late on Saturday.

Asked by a Twitter user to throw her weight behind the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, by being ‘Atikulated’, the actress said, ” I don’t know who to be.”

Platinumpost reports that APC had on Saturday announced the composition of the women’s campaign train with First Lady, Aisha Buhari; Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Hajiya Nana, wife of vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima, leading the pack.

In the 70-page campaign document, no fewer than 33 Nollywood and Kannywood actors were reportedly listed under the Creative and Entertainment Category.

They included veteran thespian, Joke Silva who chairs the category, Fausat Balogun, Rahama Sadau, Remi Oshodi, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero) Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), Princess Kalihat Bello, among others.
